Because I care

Hi Everyone, I know it's been too long since I posted anything on my blog. I've been very busy as I said in the last post getting ready for a show, which was two weeks ago. Since then I've been just relaxing and taking it easy. I've not done any creating at all. Actually because of what I was doing before the show, my housecleaning was a bit behind so I spent a fair amount of time on it and getting rid of some old junk and what have you.

As for the show It was a success as far as I'm concerned, It could have been better, but we didn't have the greatest weather, so that didn't help, but all and all I'm pleased. My friend and I plan on doing it again next year with some changes. I would show you pictures of the booth, but my camera seems to have been lost in the shuffle of everything. So if I can find it in the next few days I will show you them.

Anyway as you all know by now I'm sure, Stampin' Up has a new catalogue coming out on July 1st, and today I made a card using the new stamp set called Because I care, it is a beautiful hydrangea and has a border and a couple of sentiments and a small little flower you can use to make it 3d or use it on a background. Anyway I did use one of the returning in colors that will be a part of the core colors. Pacific Point and Old Olive and white on the card. I'm quite pleased with it, I used Stazon to stamp it in black and then used a blender pen and the pacific point ink for the flowers and dotted the centers with the brand new Daffodil Yellow and then again used the blender pen on the leaves with Old Olive. If you are liking this stamp set, all you have to do is have a party and with qualifying sales it can be yours. So if you want to have one give me a call.
Thanks for looking
Cindy
PS make sure you keep looking at the blog as I will be showing you a few other items  you can find in the catalogue and some of the new beautiful colors too, as I work on a few challenges that my friend Julie and I have decided to do. Oh her blog is here so go check out her new creations too
