Hexagon cards

These two cards were also done for a swap in a group. It was called the geometric shape card swap. The backgrounds were done using embossing folders and my cuttlebug machine. The lettering on both cards are embossed stickers and I put 3d pictures on both as well. I like the way they turned out.

Iris folding

Both of these cards were done for a letter K swap. I decided to use ribbon for the iris folding and the tails of the kites to give it a more spring feel to it.

Sticker Mosaics

This is a recent card that I finished, that wasn't a swap card, which I'm able to post as the people have not all gotten the swap cards yet. I like doing this technique every now and then. It's sticker mesh and little squares that are done into a picture., I used yellow mesh on this one to match the color of the tulip
Items used:
Sticker mesh in yellow
mosaic square stickers in yellow, red, and green
Gold border sticker
Red yellow and white cardstock

Life is a roller coaster

Hi Everyone, Well I'm sorry I've not been blogging much these days, it seems that life has gotten really busy, I went from being home on sick leave to back at work and having my hands full, so I'm not able to do as much as I'd like. I hope to update you soon with a few new things that are in the works. Just be patient with me.

I was inspired by the card done at the morsels class

This card was inspired by the background that I did at the morsels class. I wanted to try it on the whole card and it turned out pretty good. I used a softer green, as I didn't want it to be the main object, just a background, then used the beautiful spring daffodils as the main card. The ribbon just so happened to match the blue that was the border.

Items used.
See D's morsel stamps (Whimsical Garden Collection)
Ivory Card stock
Light green ink Anna Griffin
Daffodil 3d print
Blue and white checked ribbon.

I've been given an award.

I got this award today from someone, who's just become a friend in the last few months. I appreciate that she is inspired by my work, it means a lot to me. I hope to meet her one day when I get back to the Netherlands on a visit. She has recently moved there from the States, and were both married to dutch men. Anyway thanks again Sonya. I'm supposed to send it on to three people but at the moment I don't know a lot of people in the blogging world, and Sonya has given the award to two of the people I would have given it to that's Gabby and Nic.

Anyway you can visit all there websites, as the links are on the right side of mine.
Have a great day and enjoy some of the best crafters around
