Build a Blossom

These two cards are the same as the last one, I just changed up the colors of them. They are so easy to make. The color combination for these two are Rich Razzleberry, Pretty in Pink, and Early Espresso. The leaves done in Old Olive. They were stamped with the same color onto the card stock then punched out and put together. I used the new tulip border embossing folder on the outer layer and the perfect polka dots on the small piece of early espresso.

Punched Cardinal

This card came about when I seen the Mojo Monday sketch this week. I had the bird done from when I was doing Christmas cards before the holidays, but since I will need about 200 this year or there abouts, I figured I'd keep trying to do at least one or two a week. This also falls in line with another blog that I participate in the challenges Friday Mashup which has the theme of birds this week.

Stamp: Greeting from A Cardinal Christmas

Micey Christmas

Hi All, Well the card I'm posting today, was actually done yesterday, no time to post, so here it goes. I did this card for the wonderful Winter Wonderland Challenge Blog, It is a great blog and they have challenges now that you can put any card, doesn't have to be Christmas from now until the middle of February. If you've read some of my posts from earlier, I'm working Christmas right now as I have one huge order for this coming year, that has already come to me. It's for 100 cards. So that's a lot to get done, so I'm trying to get some done now, then I will take a breather, probably in the next couple of weeks. I will still follow along with some of the challenges, in order to keep doing some throughout the year. Thanks for looking.

Jingle Belle's Challenges

Hi Everyone, I've found a new Christmas challenge over at Jingle Belle's Blog , and It looks like to be a lot of fun. Anyway the first card I did was for the challenge last week, I missed out on posting it, as I didn't find the challenge in time, but wanted to show everyone, what I've been doing with my new Janome Mini Sewing machine. Great little machine, I had a big sewing machine, but too hard to carry upstairs, and besides its in a cabinet, and no room up here for it, but this little one is a great size, and fits on the shelf and really light. Anyway the challenge called to use inchies as part of the design, well the quilt part of the card was done using inchies, then was stamped with some really little stamps I've had for years, don't remember who they are from.

The second card is for this weeks challenge which is to use acrylic paint, I used the acrylic paint to do acrylic resist for the medallion in the background. I then cut it out with my nestabilities, After I did the resist technique, instead of leaving it white, which it would have been, I decided to use the log cabin smooch spritz on it, very cool stuff and looks really pretty and shiney in person. The greeting card kid was colored using aqua painter and water color wonder crayons that just became available in the new colors. there is a retrofit package of them if you have the old colors already.
Anway then the fun came when I started to make it more vintage looking.
Thanks for Looking.
