Friday Mashup Time again

Here is my card for the Friday Mashup this week. I used the sketch, but instead of the label under I used a butterfly since I put my greeting in the circle. Thanks for looking

Technique Challenge

This is another card I've made using the technique over at Come and Get it Challenges. I used the en francais set for the background and the vintage vogue set for the flower. I'd also like to enter this into the
Paper Players for the Anything Goes Challenge this week.
Thanks for looking.

Come and Get it Technique Challenge- Faux Linen

Hi Everyone, This week is was my turn over at come and get it challenge blog to decide on the technique, I chose Faux Linen, since I hadn't done it in a while and I really like the look of the technique. I also wanted to show that it can be done as part of the main image or can be done as a background technique. If you go over to the blog, there are some great ways of using this technique and a link to a video so you can come and play with us.
My first card is done using the Lovely as a Tree Set, and I used a retired set called riveting for the sentiment.
The second card is done using the Fast and Fabulous Set, the Wonderfully Worn Background and the Sentiment is from Whimsical Words Set

Men's Card

Here is the card I made for this week's challenge over at a la card monkey. Very Simple Sketch.
I used the Lovely as a Tree set, one of my favorite sets, hope it never retires. It is colored with Chalks. I used the Woodland walk designer paper to go with it.  My husband really liked it I guess, cause after I finished it, he decided it would be the perfect card for a colleague of his that is celebrating his birthday this week. Thanks for looking.

Just for Fun Challenge

Over at the Just for Fun Blog its all about size this month, so they are challenging you each week to do projects of different sizes. This week it's Tea Cards. I'd never heard of them but they used to come in Tea, apparently, anyway they were collected and traded and such. Anyway they are small works of art that are 2.25 by 1.25 inches and they asked to mount them, so I made 3 and mounted them onto a cut card so I could take the picture anyway Here's my results of these fun interesting cards. I think I will take them separately and make them into cards after. Thanks for looking

Ribbon, Pearls and for the Girls

 Hi Everyone,

This is the card that I've made for the Friday Mashup this week. The theme is Ribbons and Pearls for the Girls. As soon as I seen this I thought oh a nice elegant card in pretty soft colors. So I chose Certainly Celery, Marina Mist and Whisper White.
The stamp sets I used were Just believe, the beautiful leaves from it, and the punch potpourri set for the flowers. I left the flowers just stamped and punched to give it a softer feminine look. Oh the butterfly is in baja breeze, but that was because I didn't want it in green or in the marina mist, but something that would be a compliment to both colors. and of course the pearls and the Marina Mist ribbon add some elegance along with the Elegant lines embossing folder, and to finish it off I used the Just for you from the teeny tiny wishes set.
Thanks for looking.
