Embroidery with Beads on Cards

Hi Everyone, well as a lot of my friends know I don't only do stamped cards. I love to do any type of card that is out there, this is one of the types that I love to play with. I also do 3d pictures, as well as just embroidery, along with every once in a while I'll do some parchment craft. That I've not done in quite some time, I'm thinking the new year I will play with it again, anyway, here is a sample of one of the embroidery with beads cards.

Birthday Easel Card

This is a card I did as a prototype for another one that i have to do It will also be a birthday card, but will be personalized for the person. I think on the one that I will give to the lady for her friend, I will change it up so that the big flowers are blue, and the smaller ones are real red, and I will use some paper from retired Bella Rose. Anyway this card also follows the sketch at Stamping 411, that wasn't intentional, just happened that way and it also covers another challenge called  Challenge up your Life, which was to do an easel card.

Friday Mashup Challenge

Well I was jumping around in blog land yesterday I found a new challenge blog, called Friday Mashup where they offer a different challenge each Friday, This week it was a color combo of Crumbcake, Always Artichoke, and Cherry Cobbler, so this is the card I came up with. It's a bad picture really as you can't see the spritz of Champagne shimmer paint or the ornaments done with the dazzling diamonds. So will try and take another picture in the daylight, which is a hard thing to do now as it gets dark before I get home from work and dark when I get up in the morning.

Princess Birthday

Hi Everyone, I have an urge once in a while to do a some different types of cards that don't necessarily have all stamping up products. Today was one of those days I guess. After doing the fall card in the below post, I thought I would like to put some ink on a new stamp I got not too long ago so here is the end result.
I used markers and blender pens to color princess Tilda, For her hair I used so saffron, for her skin I used blush blossom and blushing bride, for her shoes I used crumb cake, for the pinafore and gloves  I used pink pirouette, for the top of the dress underneath I used pretty in pink and for the outer part of the dress I used melon mambo, so a whole lot of pink going on. The papers I used are retired papers from Sweet Always, Sweet Pea Designer Pack, and another package that I can't remember the name of. This is made for two challenges:

Double Dutch Challenge: Sketch
Cupcake Craft Challenge: Pink and Brown

Day of Gratitude

Here is a card I did using the popping pastels technique, using the new set that I got at the Hamilton Stamping Up Regional Convention. At first I wasn't fond of the set, but then I looked at it closer and found that I actually like it, and the number of things I think you can do with it. Also I used the popping pastels technique which was featured on the Stamping 411 site this week, so if you don't know how to do this go over and check it out.  This card can be used for a number of challenges out there right now.
