Sketch time at Come and Get It

It's my turn to host the challenge this week over at Come and Get It and I've drawn up this sketch, wanting to feature some of the wonderful Sentiments that we have around. I know that this one is retired, but I just love it, so decided to use it along with the retired ruffled ribbon in baja breeze, which goes well with the comfort cafe designer paper. Ok this is the first time I've actually cut from a full sheet of dsp in I don't know how long, been so good about trying to use up all those scraps of paper. So I feel good about using a new sheet this time. Anyway enough of my rambling. Hope you have a great Sunday and come play along with us.

Christmas Tag

For this weeks challenge at Holly Jolly, Judy has challenged us to make Christmas Tags. I'm not one to make a lot of tags, as Christmas is usually a quiet holiday for us, so no need for a lot of them, so never got in the habit of making them, so I guess I will have to start, as I really enjoyed making this one. Anything other than a Card Challenge

Here is my submission for this weeks anything but a card challenge at Come and Get It. I originally made the 4 in 1 box, It's an adorable little box that you could use as a gift for earrings or small candies, or such, then I decided to add a matching box in a bag to go with it.  The darling little girl holding the sign is an image from our sponsor. Thanks for looking.

Ornaments for Color me Beautiful and Sudsol

I was in a chat tonight for demonstrators at Sudsol and there was a sketch challenge, so I decided to try the sketch and also I paired it with the Color Me Beautiful Color Challenge, which is to use  at least three colors, which I used Rich Razzleberry, Lucky Limeade and Basic Gray. I will also add it to the Cute Card Tuesday Challenge, as it is Christmas in September.  Thanks for looking.

Sentiment Only challenge at Holly Jolly

Hi Everyone, well it's Holly Jolly Challenge again and this time Meighan is hosting and she wants us to do a card with only a sentiment, no other stamped images. So this is the card I came up with. It uses the retired, but available through MDS Jolly Jingles paper , and the Sentiment is from the new More Merry Messages.
I was playing around with this idea a bit and decided to do another card, so here it is as well, making the second one a vintage card, which anyone who knows me knows this is something I love.

Farm Animal Challenge

Hi Everyone, well over at Come and Get It, we have a new challenge set by Julie, and that is to create a card with a farm animal on it well I came up with this party animal for that challenge. The stamp set used is called Button Buddies, and Pennant Parade, the colors are Blushing Bride, Very Vanilla and Concord Crush. I have made kind of a pact with myself to try and use up some of the scraps of paper I've collected. So this is where the paper came from and then the color combination. The paper is retired called Lap of Luxury. Thanks for looking

Tic Tac Toe, for Come and Get It

This is my card this week for the Come and Get It Challenge Blog I've used the new Happy Hour Stamp set out of the 2012-2013 catalogue. for the bingo I used Rhinestones, Ribbon and punches. I embossed the one panel with the new chevron embossing folder, the bit that is coming from the bottom is actually ribbon, the Elegant Eggplant scalloped dotted ribbon. Anyway otherwise a simple and quick card with lots of white space. Thanks for looking

French Foilage

Hi everyone, well this is the second post for the Color Me Beautiful Challenge, I made my first card for the challenge, but was late in getting it posted. Not this time, I'm early lol. Anyway I've used all the colors in my design along with black stazon ink for the greeting only. I enjoy doing the triple time stamping technique as it always comes out different, doesn't matter how many times you do it. Thanks for looking

Colour Me Beautiful

Color Me Beautiful is a new color challenge out there. go check it out. A good blogging friend is on the design team, Margaret, so go give her some love too. Here are the colors for this weeks challenge

and this is my card

Ok for my card this is what I've come up with, There is only a touch of Lucky Limeade and Basic Grey, the rest of the colors are all there, The flowers were done with Wisteria Wonder and Perfect Plum. The leaves in Lucky Limeade, the Greeting is stamped in Basic Grey, and then the borders are done in Perfect Plum. The doily behind is Rich Razzleberry. This was a tricky combo with all the purple tones, and I'm not a purple gal normally, so it was a challenge for me, but I do like the way the card turned out. What do you think?

Colorful Cupcakes

Here is my card for the Come and Get It Challenge this week.  We are sponsored this week by Bugaboo, so I am using one of their images. I colored the pig with pink pirouette, then colored the cupcakes with Marina Mist, Certainly Celery, and Pretty In Pink, I colored the image twice then cut out the balloon, the cupcake toppers and hat, to make them 3d. I used the Create a Cupcake punch to make the cupcakes at the bottom of the card, and used my two way glue pen and dazzling diamonds to add a bit of glitter to their tops.
