King of the grill

Hi Everyone, well its been a while since I posted, I've been really busy, but today I actually took some time out and made this card. It is from the new Summer Mini, which will be released on May 1st. It's a great mini, has some really nice sets.  This is the set called King of the Grill. I used the main image and two of the 4 sentiments that come with it. I used water color crayons to color it. Thanks for looking.  The layout is from the Stamping 411 blog challenge. Color Renovation

Stampin' Up! just announced a color renovation coming in July with the new catalog! Just like everything, there are trends in today's market, including color. After two years of planning, they have decided to retire many of the current colors, and bring in some fresh new colors. There will be new color collections, and a total re-vamping of the color families.

Some of the old "In Colors" will be returning as core colors. Remember Pink Pirourette, Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze, River Rock,Tangerine Tango and Wild Wasabi? Those are some just some of the returning colors!!!

Of the earth

 This is a third card using the same sketch, this wasn't intended, just happened that way. I used Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry  and then used Of the Earth Stamp set, embossed in White

Bloomin' Beautiful

This is another card I've done today, also following the stamping 411 challenge, I like the sketch so did a second one, For this I used versamark to stamp it then colored with chalks, I did the highlights with marker, I also layered the flowers to give it a 3D effect.

Stamping 411 challenge

 Everyone here is my card for the stamping 411 challenge, I had a lot of fun making this one, It uses the Extreme Elements and the Extreme Skateboarder sets. I just love how they work so well together, my idea behind this was to convey motion. Anyway thanks for looking
