Alcohol Ink Faux Bleach Technique

This is a card I made using a new technique for me called a alcohol ink faux bleach technique. You can find the instructions on how to do this here at splitcoast stampers. I used a few different colors for doing the technique, and used the stamp set from Stamping us called Friends 24/7 (retired). But I loved how the card turned out what about you what do you think? The first layer is the card base in soft suede, the second layer is the faux bleaching, the third layer, is the piece that the paper that was ironed off of the first piece, then stamped with the sentiment. Then the bird was  stamped with soft suede as well. Thanks for looking

More Field Flowers

Here is another card I did using the field flowers stamp set. The sketch is from the Sketchbook Saturday Challenge. The colors are Pink Pirouette, Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizazz and River Rock. I also used the en francais set for the background, making it nice and soft, it was stamped in river rock. I stamped the flowers and popped them up to add more interest. Thanks for looking.

Field Flowers

Today I was just playing around with the set Field Flowers, and decided why not use the color combo I came up with to see how it would look with this set. The flower was stamped in Baja Breeze and Perfect Plum, and so was the bud, the stem in Pear Pizazz, the papers used are from the Subtles collection  book and also the small book of patterned papers I've had since last year with the in colors. I will miss the the blushing bride, along with the pear pizazz out of the in colors. I really liked them all, but won't miss the other ones as much I suppose. but I will still have them to use when the urge hits. Thanks for Looking
