Gatefold Cards

This was the first one I did. I wasn't too happy with it, but I figured it was ok. I used the swiss dots embossing folder from cuttlebug and stamped the flowery things from my See D's stamp and used a scallop punch for the outer square and a butterfly sticker and decorative brads to finish it off.

Items used.

See-D's Nature Print stamp

Cuttlebug Swiss Dots

Light blue and pink cardstock

Blue Jean embossing powder

Butterfly sticker

Pink brads.

It's been awhile

It's been awhile since I've posted anything on here, so I guess I'm well overdue. I've been busy at work and have been busy catching up on a few things, but have managed to make a few things, which I'll post over the next day or two. Glad you've come to visit and take care everyone.

Cuttlebug Card

This was a simple card to do, as I used my cuttlebug machine to do it. It is an embossed and debossed background with a ribbon in the middle and a tag with metal flower

Get Well Soon

This card combines a couple of techniques. The flower in the center is stamped with fuschia ink, and then microbeads for the center and its on a spirelli star, which is a form of string art, then its layered on papers, which are attached with brads.

L is for

Lions, which are done in 3d then layered on gold paper and then on chocolate cardstock.

Suspension Card

This is a suspension card that I did for a swap a little while ago that I forgot to put on the blog. I found this paper in a book of papers I had by Colorblok called Dena's Designs, and the 3d sticker roses just seemed to match it perfectly, and I put it on purple cardstock as I love the pink and purple together. I had fun making it.

criss cross cards

These are criss cross cards. The instructions for these can be found at splitcoast stampers. They were fun to make. I plan on doing a few more of them since I signed up for a swap using this technique

Butterfies

This butterfly card was fun to do as well. The butterflies are outline stickers put on to cardstock and then colored in with glaze and souffle markers. They are then cut out and put on the background paper with silicone to make them 3d in appearance.

Items used:

Outline butterfly stickers , pink cardstock, pattern paper, silicone, glaze and souffle markers and outline word stickers.
