Mojo Monday on Saturday

Okay so it is Saturday and no time to do this before now, so now here it is for this weeks Mojo Monday. I used the tutorial at Corie's blog to make the flower, I used Newspaper and crumpled it and then distressed it with close to cocoa then punched it out and followed her directions. I don't have it so you don't see the brad in the middle cause I wanted to see it as it is a beauty, a chocolate chip corduroy button. Then I used the close to cocoa to make the background on the kraft paper which I really like. I used the vine from the vintage vogue and then the rest is pretty self explanatory. Thanks for looking

Scalloped flower

Hi Everyone,
Well these cards came about using the sketch from CPS- Sketch Challenge, I came with the idea of the flower as I've seen a number of them made and just had to try it. Very simple to make using the Stampin' Up Scalloped circle punch, Punch out 5 of them and then scrunch them all up and then unscrunch them and layer them put a brad through the middle and rescrunch the center one and voila the flower is made, I just love the look of them.
They are all made with copy paper and then sponged ink on them the first with So Saffron, and Bravo Burgundy, The second one with Rich Razzleberry, and the third one with Bashful blue and Ballet Blue.
The first and third I added the get well message to them sponging the darker color along the strip of paper, the middle one I used ribbon instead of paper. Also the middle on I used Stampin' Up Cottage Wall DSP. The other two are from my stash.
Anyway thanks for looking have a great day.

Hi All, I've been doing some more embroidery cards, haven't done any in a while, but I love them so decided I should do a few more of them. Anyway the first are carnations, and the second a rose trellis. added a bit of extras to the cards, and I like the results.

Red and White

Here is a card I did for a swap with my partners in our Stampin' Up group. It is also for the red and white challenge at Winter Wonderland. I made a valentines card instead of a Christmas card for this challenge. It is done using the new Sweet Things stamp set along with the Sweet Treat cup holders. There are cinnamon hearts in the center of the cup. but it has a sliding door to it so they can get the treats and keep the card. The door is used by pulling on the sweet treats sentiment on the side.
Thanks for looking.
