For this week at Holly Jolly our hostess Judy has asked for Christmas Trees to be the focal Image. so I've used the tree from the Scentsational season. The designer paper is retired Holly Jolly Holiday I believe or something like that, but you could use anything that has polkadots to replicate it, in fact the polkadot parade paper, or the regular prints from Stampin' Up has polka dots that you could use, I just used some other small bits of scraps for the banners, and the button is from the Regal Collection of Button's Thanks for looking

Sketch Time at Come and Get It

Hi Everyone, It's Sketch time at Come and Get It Challenges. Shell has given us the sketch this time around and I've decided to use the Christmas Lodge set for my card, and I've also used the Brushed Gold, Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler card stock. The lodge was stamped with stazon ink and then the snow was colored using my gel pen. The brushed gold was embossed using the argyle embossing folder. The Paper is the retired Mocha Morning. The little bow is a fork bow made with the 3/8 inch early espresso taffeta ribbon, which is also retired, but I guess I could have used the crumb cake one, but need to get rid of the retired stuff. It's Begining to look like Xmas

For the Friday Mashup this week your supposed to make a Christmas Project with some sparkle.
For mine this is my version of the ornament on the front cover of the Stampin Up Holiday Mini Catalogue. I've used Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler, didn't add the linen thread. and the tulle is from stash, which is a vanilla color. I love the way it turned out. I'm here in Iowa this week and Julie and I each made one of them. Great fun. The second picture is of Julie beside her ornament. I've had a great time here in Iowa, and will be heading home tomorrow afternoon.

Photo Inspiration Challenge

This week at Holly Jolly it is Meighan's turn to host the challenge, and she has asked us to make a card using the picture as inspiration. I decided to use the idea of the skates, and then pulled some of the color from it and made it vintage as the photo itself is vintage. Thanks for looking.

Scrappy Christmas

Hi Everyone, Well it is my turn to host the challenge at Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge this week, and I've set the challenge to all to use those scraps of paper you have laying around, or scraps of card stock that your hoarding. It's time to start making some great  holiday cards with them, In fact I've made several of them this year, and I got rid of a lot of the old little pieces of paper laying about. So lets get scrappy over at Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge

Pick Three Challenge

This week at Come and Get It we have a Pick Three Challenge. Julie came up with a list of things to pick from, so I chose the color Green, Circles, and Scallops. I have used the new set perfectly preserved and the matching dies to make the card, along with the itty bitty banners. The paper is retired, from last year. The colors on the card are pear pizazz, early espresso, and more mustard. Thanks for looking

Glitter and Bling

For Holly Jolly this week Paige is the host, and she has chosen for us to use glitter and bling on our projects. Anyone who knows me knows I don't use much of either on any of my cards, so it was a challenge, but I think I pulled it off. I've used the glitter paper from Stampin' Up for the glitter and some rhinestones for the bling. The paper is from the new Festive Designer Series pack. Great deal on this one. The rosette was made using the first edition newsprint designer paper. and the snowflake was made using the retired snow flurries die. I also used the retired Four the Holidays stamp set for the greeting. Thanks for looking
