A Good Egg

Both these two cards were made with A Good Egg set by SU. They were also both fun to do. The first one was made Sunday Morning, I used a textured cardstock and stamped it with the open dots from the same set, then I punched out the scallops with my corner rounder on Old Olive to match the paper which is from one of the scrapbooking sets of paper, and then punched out a scalloped circle out of the same cardstock the card was made from then stamped the egg, colored him in with prismas, and added dazzling diamonds to the shell.
The second one I did in a class we had at my house on Sunday along with 4 other beauties, which I'll share over the next couple of days. The turquoise paper was stamped with the new roller stamp found in the mini catalogue easter eggs, then cut the turqoise in half added the gold brads and put them in to slots we punched . then lifted up the top and and before we glued on the bottom stamped in the little chick. colored him in, then added the bottom turqoise, stamped the large egg colored it in and then cut at the crack line and lined them up to match the chick and glued them to the paper.
Thanks for looking

Mother's Day basket

Yes I know I'm a little early for Mother's Day here , but well I'm having an open house at my place on the 26th of April and I wanted to make a few things using stamps that are not cards, to show people that you can do more than cards with stamps. So I did this basket, now the pattern for this one is not mine It came from Claire Brennan, you can find here here. She is also the one that shows how do to the ribbon frame that I had done in a previous post. Great blog to take a peek at. Anyway I'll be working on more things for my open house, and will post when I have time.

Things I used for the basket:
Cameo Coral CS.
Tempting Turquoise CS.
prima flower turqoise,
clear brad
Stamp was from SU embrace life set
Pergamano Tinta ink Turquoise
Pergamano Tinta Pearl White
Thanks for stopping by as usual, and comments are always welcome.

Quilled Easter Card

Hi Again, Alot of you know but if your not familar with me, I do more than stamping, I do quilling, parchment craft, embroidery on cards, 3d, among many other techniques. This is a quilled easter card that I've done in the last couple of days. It was fun to do. I recently purchased a fringer and of course, had to try it out, the daises are made using the fringer. The scan isn't very good, as the color of the card isn't right, as it is a yellow card, and on the scan it looks like the happy easter greeting is blurred, but it's not, I hate when the scan doesn't do the card justice, but what can you do. I guess I could have taken a picture of it with the camera, but I was lazy and in a hurry, as this card is already sold, in fact was sold before it was finished. Have a great day all.

Easter Wishes

Here is a card I made over the weekend for Easter. I'm in the midst of doing a bunch of cards and things for my open house, which will be after Easter, but I love this little pick up truck and want to showcase it with one of the accessories. So this is what I came up with, maybe I'll do another one before the open house, see what time allows. Anyway, stuff I used to make this card are Old Olive Card Stock, Old olive Patterned paper, Loads of Love stamp set and accessories, old olive ink and I colored the white Taffetta ribbon with ink as well. Also the layout is from
http://www.mojomonday.blogspot.com/ from last Monday. Go check them out if your wanting a layout they post a new one each week. Thanks for stopping by

Ribbon Border Cards

After seeing Julie's card with the bunny and the ribbon border, I just had to give this a try the first one, I didn't like so much because I used the slot punch and I guess it made it too big so the ribbon didn't see as nice, or at least in my opinion.
The first card is made with whisper white and pink passion. The background was made using the flowers from the bird on a branch set and the main image is from Embrace life, It was colored in using prisma markers and the stamp was the same ink as the marker I used.
The second one is stamps used from Crazy for Cupcakes, the background was done using Whisper Violet ink and the cupcake is colored with prisma markers as well. Then I used glue pen and dazzling diamonds glitter for the icing.

Fashion Swap

These are two cards, that I did this evening for a fashion swap that I'm in. I just love this dress it's from inkadinkado. I got it in a set with the other stamps I used on the cards. The black and gold I used a very glittery gold on the dress and then used a flatter gold on the lettering and a gold pilot pen around the outside of the card. For the pink one I used whisper pink ink and black ink, the shoe was made twice cut out and layered to give it a pair look. and the ribbon is a satin ribbon I had in my stash from who knows where LOL.

Teapot Card

This is a card that I've done for a customer of mine that collects teapot anything, she asked me to do two identical cards for her with images of teapots. This is the first of many that she wants me to do. I've done two of them and now I'll work on doing a few more of them with other images and such of teapots. The image was embroidered in fuscia metalic thread, then I mounted it on fuscia paper, which looks purple from the scan and then mounted it on light pink. The flowers are die cuts with small gemstones in the centers of them then used the Stampn' Up window punch to make the tag and used the friend to friend stamp from the pocket silhouettes set to do the greeting.

I used a nestabilities oval from Spellbinder to make the oval with my cuttlebug.
