Faux Pearl Flowers

Over at Stamping 411 the challenge this week is the above sketch and as always you must use all stamping up. I've used the fabulous florets stamp set along with the petite pairs and Wonderful Favorite set, which is retired for the word sister. I followed the faux pearl technique they have on the blog for this card, as I've wanted to try it for a while now, very cool. I used blusing bride, rose red, wild wasabi and rich razzleberry ink on the faux pearl for the flowers and leaves. I embossed the elegant lines folder onto the rose red piece, and flipped it as I wanted the blank area up in the upper corner, so I could add the pearls. The ribbon is the new blushing bride pleated ribbon. Thanks for looking.

Split Negative Challenge

Hi Everyone, Here's my card for the Split Negative Challenge at Come and Get it this week, I've use the elements of style with Cherry Cobbler, and Very Vanilla. I bordered it on the Early Espresso. I used the top not die to cut it out, and made the greeting and punched it into a circle, added some pearls, distressed the edges and used the crochet ribbon and made a bow on the bottom. Come on over and give the technique a try. We'd love to see what you come up with, Also the ladies did some great samples too.  Thanks for looking.

Birthday with a Sketch

Here is the sketch that inspired my two cards

Yes I did two, the challenge is for a birthday card, which I did but also as a number of people know I have a lot of Christmas cards to make for this coming year again.Last year I made over 200, and I don't have any left, between orders and what I used myself. so I need to do at least that many again this year. so I'm doing double duty with the sketch, so here are my cards. Hope you like them. I would like to enter the Birthday one into the Monkey Challenge, as well as in the Birthday Sundaes Challenge. The Christmas card I will enter into the Christmas Inspirations Challenge.
Thanks for looking.
