Big on Christmas

For this card I used two different stamp sets, and some pearl ink and markers.
First I stamped snowflakes from the serene snowflakes using the pearl ink , then I also dabbed it on the tag, then stamped the tag using stazon ink. I then colored in the tag using markers: ballet blue, basic black, pumpkin pie, ruby red and garden green. Added the ribbon from my stash and the card was done. This was done for the stamptacular sunday challenge which said to use a tag on anything. I like there challenge as it's something different each week.
Thanks for looking.

Christmas Angel

Here's a card I did, that the angel is embroidered on red in gold, then I used the big shot to cut out and then added it on a background I made and then used the modern label punch and the word window punch to make the label for it and put it all together. Really haven't done much this week as I've been bothered by the arthritis in my hands, it's actually the tendons that are inflamed and cause my fingers to lock up, which is why this is the first post since the challenge for stamptacular.

Thanks for looking.

baby tags and box

This is an order that I just finished making. It was for a lady that is making gift baskets for babies and wanted me to make the tags to go on the baskets. She asked for ten in total, 2 in each colour, white, pink, blue, yellow and green. I stamped a bunch of different images and colored them in and attached them to the tags, a couple of them I stamped right onto the tag and then some of them I popped up as well. Then I decided that I needed something to take them to her and I thought a small box was in order, so I made the box and put them in and added the label baby tags to it, figuring on if she starts to run out then she can call and ask me to refill the box.
Well that's it for today. Oh and the challenge for this week at Stamptacular is to make anything but a card so I guess this rates. +

Embrace life

Here's a card I made using the Embrace life set, The flower is watercolored using the same technique as the previous post. I then stamped and colored the vine from the set and mounted the flower over the vine and adding a pearl for the center. I sponged around the edge with two colors this time, I like the effect it has on the card. The DP is from my stash, and so are the flowers and added a pearl on them as well to round it out.

Stamptacular Challenge

For this week's stamptacular challenge it was all about scallops. I used the nestability to make the scallop edging around the 3d flower from the Bloom beautiful set, which I colored with water color wonder crayons. What a treat they are to use. I have two sets of them so far and plan on getting the others. as I really like the softness that you get when using them. The sentiment was from another set of stamps from inique boutique, mini morsel sayings. and used impressions plate behind the flower nad chalked over the impresseions with some red ink.

scrapbox

Hi Everyone, Well this is just the coolest thing I've seen in a while, I was at a convention early in the month of August and we had some make and takes to do. Well I never finished mine until I got home and one of them was the scrapbox. It's is a 12 by 12 scrapbook page made into a box, of course there is a lid to it so it's a great idea for a small gift. I think for grandkids to grandparents, put their pictures in it and a little something extra, or a baby shower, make it so when the new mom gets it she can fill the page with baby photos. Anyway I did the one from the convention and it was for Christmas and now I've done this one The first picture is the top of the box and the second is when it is open, the squares are to fill up with pictures and the center bit is for journalling.

Materials used:
Stamp: Sincere Salutations
Card Stock: Rich Razzleberry, Orchid Opulence, Sage shadow.
DP: Cottage Wall, Just love this paper
Dies: Emboslits flower, birds and blooms flower, and Little leaves
Accessories: glue, sticky tape, pearls and sizzix machine, scalloped oval punch.
Thanks for looking and have a great week
