For the challenge this week over at Friday Mashup it is a color challenge, using real red, marina mist and old olive. This is the card I did for the challenge. So here is the first one.

Greeting card kid

This is another christmas card done, believe it or else yeah I'm still making them. I have made over 110 this year, but I had one customer who wanted 50, then I had a craft sale and sold out other than about a dozen beaded ones, which my husband decided he needed. He's asked me to make one more, and then I need a few for people that he didn't think to send to. So I've got about 6 or eight more to do, I'm hoping to get them done today or tomorrow. Anyway this card is done for the Pals Paper Arts challenge, which is for a clean and simple layout with lace. Thanks for looking.

Embroidery with Beads on Cards

Hi Everyone, well as a lot of my friends know I don't only do stamped cards. I love to do any type of card that is out there, this is one of the types that I love to play with. I also do 3d pictures, as well as just embroidery, along with every once in a while I'll do some parchment craft. That I've not done in quite some time, I'm thinking the new year I will play with it again, anyway, here is a sample of one of the embroidery with beads cards.

Birthday Easel Card

This is a card I did as a prototype for another one that i have to do It will also be a birthday card, but will be personalized for the person. Well I was jumping around in blog land yesterday I found a new challenge blog, called Friday Mashup where they offer a different challenge each Friday, This week it was a color combo of Crumbcake, Always Artichoke, and Cherry Cobbler, so this is the card I came up with. It's a bad picture really as you can't see the spritz of Champagne shimmer paint or the ornaments done with the dazzling diamonds. So will try and take another picture in the daylight, which is a hard thing to do now as it gets dark before I get home from work and dark when I get up in the morning.

Princess Birthday

Hi Everyone, I have an urge once in a while to do a some different types of cards that don't necessarily have all stamping up products. Today was one of those days I guess. After doing the fall card in the below post, I thought I would like to put some ink on a new stamp I got not too long ago so here is the end result.
I used markers and blender pens to color princess Tilda, For her hair I used so saffron, for her skin I used blush blossom and blushing bride, for her shoes I used crumb cake, for the pinafore and gloves  I used pink pirouette, for the top of the dress underneath I used pretty in pink and for the outer part of the dress I used melon mambo, so a whole lot of pink going on. The papers I used are retired papers from Sweet Always, Sweet Pea Designer Pack, and another package that I can't remember the name of. This is made for two challenges:

Double Dutch Challenge: Sketch
Cupcake Craft Challenge: Pink and Brown

Day of Gratitude

Here is a card I did using the popping pastels technique, using the new set that I got at the Hamilton Stamping Up Regional Convention. At first I wasn't fond of the set, but then I looked at it closer and found that I actually like it, and the number of things I think you can do with it. Also I used the popping pastels technique which was featured on the Stamping 411 site this week, so if you don't know how to do this go over and check it out.  This card can be used for a number of challenges out there right now.

Ho Ho Ho

Well I guess there are a number of us getting into the spirit of making Christmas cards or at least trying to get a head start on making them. This card was done for two challenges and it uses the new designer paper, as well as the new ribbon, and set Jolly Old Saint Nick from the Holiday Mini catalogue which just was released on the first of Sept. So far I must say that this is the best Holiday catalogue I've seen. There is something for the cute, something for the young and young at heart, and even some of the old vintage style stuff. Also Stampin Up has come out with some really nice fabric to enjoy doing your holiday sewing as well. So if you need anything or want to browse, just click on the picture of the catalogue and it will take you there.
This Card was inspired by the sketch at Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge, and by using this paper and design it called for Distressing which is what Stamptacular Sunday challenge is wanting us to do this week.

Items used:
Stamps: Jolly Old Saint Nick, Morsel Greetings (See-D's)
Card stock, Real Red, Early Expresso,
Designer Paper: Deck the Halls

Accessories: tombow glue, dimensionals, glue dots,  dazzling diamonds, distress tool, 1/8 in real red taffeta ribbon, real red button, linen thread

Angelic Joy

This card was done for the Stamping 411 Challenge. I used the new Stamp called Angelic Joy from the Holiday Mini catalogue. It has some nice sayings with it as well. I will show you another card later in the week made with her as well. She's so pretty. I colored her with inks and aqua brush, with exception to her halo and wings, they were painted with paint brush using the champagne shimmer paint, the lines in the wings were all I outlined with the paint, didn't want too much.
Thanks for looking Cindy
For this card I used:
Card stock: Whisper White, Marina Mist, Baja Breeze, Bashful blue
Inks Marina Mist, Baja Breeze, Sahara Sand, So Saffron, Daffodil delight, Blush Blossom
Paper: Gold Waffle Paper, Candy Cane Christmas

I have a lady at work who asked for some congratulations cards and I didn't have a one in my stash, so here is the first one that I've made, will make about a half dozen more and then she can choose, which she likes. The flower was colored using aqua painter and ink from the rose red ink pad to match the colors of the paper and ink used.

Tree-mendous

Hi Everyone, Well this card came about cause I found a sketch on Splitcoaststampers that I really liked, but of course I modified it a bit, it was #150, anyway I really liked it and love the paper that is in the background, it just fit the tree theme, which I was going to do the thoughts and prayer tree but it wouldn't fit on to the small rectangle, and I didn't want to make it any bigger, as I like the double frame idea. Anyway so I thought ok I could use the trendy tree set, and this was the result from it. I was telling Julie that her card fit a couple of challenges out there, that I was looking, when she mentioned her card with the thoughts and prayers in it, a beauty she did too. Anyway so I guess mine fits those challenges as well. They are Cute Card Thursday, and Daring Card maker Challenge, and it also follows the Stamping B's Challenge as always thanks for looking.

Musical Birthdays

These are two cards I made following the Stamping 411 Sketch this week
Both are music related birthday cards. One for a male and one for a female. I used  the new designer paper Elegant Soire for both cards. I love this new paper.
In the first one, the colors are baja breeze, crumbcake, and night of navy, for the card stock, the ribbon is navy, the birthday greeting is outlined by one of the many hardware pieces. Then I used not quite navy, crumb cake and baja breeze ink. love them together.

For the second one I changed the night of navy to basic black, and used the Guitar silhouette for the main image. The stars on the top corner are punched, large and the now retired small star. The greeting is from a retired set as well called riveting. Too bad, cause I like the set as it has all these circular greetings to them. Anyway thanks for looking. Cindy

Poinsettia Christmas Cards

Hi Everyone, I've been working on some more Christmas cards, these three are all similar but a bit different.
The first is done with Real Red and the retired Glorious Green. The second is done with Regal Rose and Wild Wasabi, and the final one is done with Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive. They were all stamped in black and colored with markers, The first two were then stamped with versamark ink, and then put heat and stick powder over that then the glitter for the background piece, then assembled. The third one I was going for a more vintage look, and tore the cardstock and inked it with distress ink, and stamped it with en francais stamp and then I crumpled the background and used distress on it as well. It also looks a bit aged from the water that was spritzed on it as well. You can't see it in the picture as the camera didn't pick it up but it also has gold spots on it throughout, as it was sprayed with a mixture of rubbing alcohol and gold shimmer paint. love the effect that gives.
These cards also were done for the following challenges
1. Stamptacular Challenge:
2. Stamp Something Challenge
3. Winter Wonderland Challenge: No Designer Paper

Thanks for looking. Cindy

Christmas Easel Card
