Autumn Colors

Autumn Colors is the challenge this week at Crafting for all Seasons, I hope you will join us. I have used an image from our sponsor called Goldfish Boy by Kenny K. I have used promarkers to color him. The picture isn't as good as I would have liked as the color of his shirt is a bit brighter than it is and the pants are a darker brown. but my main colors I have used is Tangerine Tango, Old Olive and Chocolate Chip. The bag with the goldfish in it has glossy accents on it, to make it look more real, the sentiment is from Stampin up, of course supposed to be Best Wishes, but changed it using the F from another sentiment in the set. and the little fish are outline stickers I've had around for ages. Thanks for looking

White on White Christmas

Hi Everyone, It's Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge again, and this week we have a white on white challenge for you. Judy is the hostess and this was her choice. I have made a simple card, but has lots of sparkle. I have used the Snow flurry Die from Stampin Up and cut it out from White glitter paper, and added a rhinestone to the center of it, and then made the card look like a present by having two embossed panels and two plain ones, then stamped the Merry Christmas in Smokey Slate. The sentiment is from the Merry Messages stamp set from Hero Arts. I finished it off with 5/8 white satin ribbon from my stash. Thanks for looking.

Christmas Thank You

This week at Holly Jolly we have Julie as our Hostess and she has asked us to make a Christmas Thank you card, I hav  e chosen a simple layout with a vintage theme.  The base of the card is Cherry Cobbler, then the layer is very vanilla, embossed, then a gold paste has been rubbed on. The sentiment is from the Perfectly Penned set by Stampin up. The flags are made using the Holly Jolly designer paper. The Poinsettia, is a stamp from Verve, stamped in Cherry Cobbler, then fussy cut and the branches under it are punched using a Martha Stewart punch out of Always Artichoke paper from a old designer pack, and I. Finished off the flower by adding some champagne glass glitter.

Hi Everyone, this week at Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge, we have a stars and stripe theme. Yeah I know are we in July, no, but I thought it would be a fun theme for a Christmas card. We are sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps this week and I have chosen to use the image called "Boo Peeker - Moon" for my card. It's a baby image, that I took and made into a Baby's First Christmas card. The paper behind is from a DCVW stack that I have had for a while now. the sentiment I made using the new free form tool in My Digital Studio and the star from the Nursery Necessities. The image was colored using my promarkers, the colors are Real Red, and Pretty in Pink for the card stock. Still love that color for baby cards. Anyway thanks for looking have a great week.

No Patterned Paper

This week at Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge, It's Paige that is hosting this week and she has asked us to create a card using no patterned paper. So I decided to try out my new dies I got recently from Memory Box. I sponged the background with Blue Sky ink then added the trees that were cut out from the die, then sponged with Smokey Slate, I then added the foreground of white glitter paper to make it look like hills, then mounted the deer trio onto the snow. I used the Blue Sky card stock as a border, then mounted it onto a piece of white which I stamped the greeting from The Christmas Lodge set, then mounted it all onto a base of Chocolate Chip.Check out the other beauties at the blog .
Thanks for looking,
