Thanks

This is a thank you card that I made with some of the new toys I received from my sister in law, who is here visiting from the Netherlands. Her and my other sister in law, know how much I love to make cards, that she brought over a whole bunch of stuff for me to play with, 3d, 3d pyramid and parchment stuff. So I made this card using one of the images to say thanks for the lovely gift.
I won't be here again probably until next week sometime as the visitors are here for a week only as this is their second stop on wonderful trip. They started off in Miami to take a cruise to Jamaica and Barbados, now they are here and after they leave here they will be traveling to Iceland for a week before flying home.
Thanks for looking

Back to making some Christmas Cards

Here is a card I made with a cute penny black stamp. I'm amazed with the small stamps and what you can achieve with them. I was happy with the way this one turned out. I'll put this in for the Jingle Belle's challenge this week which is a Christmas card of course, with the them as being no red in sight.
Thanks for looking.

For my Valentine

Happy Valentine's Day everyone, This is a card I made for my husband. It was inspired by a card I had seen on Splitcoast. Anyway it follows a number of challenges this week including the Friday Mashup again, but also Just add Ink which is love theme, and also the lets ink it up challenge as well . The chain with the jump rings is made with the scalloped trim border punch, so simple yet affective. Anyway thanks for stopping by.

Valentine for a baby

I was asked by a resident at the condo where I work If I could do a valentine for his grand daughter who is only a few weeks old. So this is the results of that request. I used the sketch from Stamping 411 this week, and the technique spotlight from Just Us Girls Challenge. I really like the way it turned out, and oh the challenge for the Friday Mashup is Valentine's day. So how about that 3 challenges in one card. Not something I'm known for that's for sure.
Thanks for looking

New Stuff to play with

Well it's been awhile since I posted, been a bit busy, have company coming in another week. My Brother in Law and his wife and their son is coming from Holland. They will here only for a week, as they are in Miami boarding a ship to Barbados and Jamaica right now and then will be here for a week, then flying to meet up with their other son in Iceland which is where he will be going to work after he's finished in Nigeria which he's there right now. So they are busy travelers. It will be nice to see them as I've not seen them in a number of years, and my husband hasn't seen his brother in almost 6 years.
Anyway here is a card I've made with some of the new stuff out of the Occasions Mini Catalogue. If you wish a copy let me know and I'll send it to you. Some great new things are in there as well as Sale-A-Bration is on right now so for every $60.00 Canadian spent you can get a free stamp set. woohoo free stuff is always cool.
