Something a little different

These two cards are 3D paper tole images. The first one the side bar is done using a tumble punch then I added some hotfix nail heads to it. and also added one each on the photo corners, which were also punched.
The second card was done with cuttlebug embossing folder and nestabilites ovals. then just added brads and the sentiment, pretty straight forward.

Fifth Ave Floral Thanks

These are a couple of rose's that I watercolored, not exactly happy with the results, but I can live with them. I did a couple of more which I think turned out better, and will post when I make cards from them. These two are made into thank you cards.

The blue card is embossed with the Manhattan floral folder by SU and the Thanks So Much is from the Sentimental sayings set. The leaves are the small leaves from sizzix available through Stampin Up, and the sentiment is punched with the scalloped oval punch from Stampin Up as well.

The turqoise one is embossed with cuttlebug folder thanks and then sizzix die cut leaves and the rose, Simple but effective cards I think.
Thanks for looking Cindy

Fifth Ave. Floral

For this card I used the lily from the Fifth Ave. Floral set, I just love this set, it is so versatile, I plan on making quite a number of cards with it. Anyway, I stamped the lily on white using Black Stazon, then colored the stamins with marker, and sponged on Pumpkin pie and Summer Sun. I then cut the lily out, the rest is pretty self explanitory, the layout is from Mojo Monday this week, and all products are Stampin up except the snaps, which are from my stash
Thanks for taking a peek.

Volia and Voila to Go

This card was made for a customer of mine. She loved the other chef I had made and wanted a birthday card for her husband who is also opening up a pizza place as well. This stamp set doesn't come with a pizza, but the set that goes with the chef Voila to Go had the spaghetti and meatballs. So this is what we decided we'd put on the card instead of the birthday cake.
I stamped and colored the chef with my marvy markers then added gold pearls as buttons, and also added it to lid on the lid to the platter. The chalkboard effect was made with the labels die by nestabilities and I edged it with my Pilot pen.

Eastern Blooms Time Again

Hi Everyone, Well today was a day off work, due to it being a holiday here in Canada. So I decided to try and do at least one card, I'm hoping to do a few more, but we'll see how it goes.
Anyway, I used the set called Eastern Blooms, and Oval All which is a new set from the mini catalogue. I stamped the branches on with Glorious Green, then Used Lavender lace for the small purple flowers and Orchid Opulence for the large flowers and a couple of the small ones, and Regal rose is the pink ones. The flowers are all put on with dimensionals and so is the saying which I stamped on Regal rose first punched out the scalloped oval then stamped it again on white with Regal Rose and punched out with the large punch. Then layered it on DP Bella Rose and then layered it again on Lavender Lace CS. Thanks again for stopping by, and have a great day.

Final card and box for cards

Hi Everyone, well this is a picture of one of the boxes, and the last card that I made for each of the boxes. I'm doing a couple of different colors of boxes. I've done them in brown, purple and I think blue will be the other color as the ribbon is a yellow organza. Anyway had cortizone shots in my one hand it has helped somewhat, but still a bit stiff, but at least I can craft again. So I'll be showing a few more things in the next few days. Thanks again for looking. This card was made using the cupcake in the crazy for cupcakes set and the sentiment was done on the oval using the large oval and scalloped oval. Anyway thanks again for looking have a great day.

Cards 4 and 5 for boxes.

Well it's been a while since I posted, I'm having a hard time right now, as the arthritis in my hands has been acting up real bad. My right hand is really sore, so doing anything after work is giving me a hard time of it. Oh well, sooner or later they will get better again. Until then, here are the 4th and 5th cards for the boxes that I'm making. They are all getting the bottom one which is a Pansy Pyramid card. done on the red, with the CB embossing behind it. Thinking of you embossed gold sticker to finish it off.
The top cards they will get one of either the Pink or the Blue. The technique is called Lace pronounced lasay as in the french. It came out a number of years ago in Holland, I just love the look of it, then I added some quilled flowers on the pink ones they are purple and pink and on the blue ones, it is a pink and turqoise flowers, and the leaves are punched with an EK success punch. Thanks again for looking. See ya soon
