Father's Day
This is a card that I've done for a father's day swap. The stamp is from the new mini catalogue called and many mower set, It also comes with a lawn mower and a sign, and a couple of more word stamps. It's so hard to come up with man cards and this set is just perfect for this type of card. You can order from me at my Stampin up website, just follow the link on the right hand side.
Anyway for the card I watercolored him with my prisma watercolor pencils.then cut him out and layered him olive cardstock with dimensionals. Added some golf ball stickers to the corners. Those along with the border stickers I got from www.ecstasycrafts.com. Then layered it on a piece of dp which I don't know where it came from was in my stash. and then layered onto a brown card. The Happy Father's day was stamped onto an oval I cut out from my nestabilities, and distressed with Chocolate Chip and then used some tee's on it from the same sticker set and glued it onto the brown card.

Africa Swap
These are two cards I made for an africa swap, the zebra and elephant were stamped on grey and white paper, so didn't have to do much other than cut them out, The giraffe was stamped on ivory, but used my markers to color the spot used rosewood by marvy and used more mustard with aqua brush for the golden color on them. Then printed off a map of africa and cut it out of the patterned paper, not sure where its from, came out of my stash, then layered them with dimensionals. The ribbon is one I got from Michaels.

Cards for the boxes
Here are the first three cards that I'm putting into the boxes. I have made them so far, will work on the other three this weekend. I'll see how far I get with them.
The first I've done is using the upsydaisy stamp set from SU, I stamped it in pumpkin the reinked and stamped off and stamped off again, used the ribbon from the bundle set they had on in the SAB catalogue and then used my tom tas butterfly punch to punch out the butterflies.
The second card is embroidery pretty straight forward, also did it on a number of different colors.
The third card I used a stamp from the Birds Galore set from Inkadinkado
Stamped it in Glorious Green then stamped it again and cut the bird out in Pink Passion. I used my nestabilities to cut out the scalloped rectangle and the paper is from my stash. and used some ribbon from my stash as well.
Anyway thanks for looking

Here are two more cards that I've made for a swap. The color combo swap was to be yellow, turqoise and pink. I don't make two cards the same for most swaps. the last one was unusal. So here are the two cards I came up with the first is from the true friendship set by SU and the second is the upsy daisy stamp from SU. I love both of these sets.
Anyway thanks for looking. I'll be busy working on an order that I received the other day. I have to make 7 boxes of cards, with 6 cards in each. So I"ll post on of the sets when I get them done.
Again thanks for looking. Have a great day.

Faux Leather
These are two cards I've made for a faux leather swap I'm in. I think they would be great for a man's birthday, which people are always saying they don't have enough of. The faux leather I made quite some time ago and have had laying around, it worked out kind of neat though cause as I was cutting it up to use, some of the embossing powder and stuff flaked off. so it kind of gave it an aged look which I like.
The rest is pretty self explanitory for the card.
Stamp used is from Lovely as a tree set
Ink on the first one was distress ink tea dyed from Ranger, and handsome hunter from SU.
Ink on the second one is Chocolate Chip and Handsome Hunter by SU
brads are from my stash one set is square gold brads and the other are antique copper brads. both from Making Memories.
White cardstock and Ivory cardstock from Michaels.

Close as a Memory
This is a sketch that I've been working on. It's from Our Creative Corner.
Materials used for making this:
Stamps: Close as a Memory - Stampin Up
Ink Bravo Burgandy
EP: Clear
Tools: stampmajig, quilling too, leaf punch, circle punch, scallop circle punch.
The stamping was done on whisper white and backed with the opposite side of the paper as the DP. The rose was made with quilling paper that I inked in the Bravo Burgundy to match the ink, and then embossed it with clear to keep the ink from coming off as the quilling paper was a shiney paper and I wanted the rose to have a sheen to it. Part of the image is blurred cause the rose is 3d and the scanner blurred the rest of the image.

Embroidery and Stamping
Hi Everyone, for this one, its a bit of embroidery and stamping combined. I embroidered teh border on this card at work, then brought it home and thought what am I to do with it, so I cut it up into a square and punched of the corners using scalloped circle punch. Then cut a circle using my nestabilities die and cuttlebug machine and cut out the center circle, sponged the edges with Elegant Eggplant ink, and then stamped the very versatile plant in the center and stamped off two more of them on either side. Glued on to the center of the frame, made the card from So Safron textured cardstock and centered the square of purple onto the center and stamped again with Elegant Eggplant with the Happy Birthday of the same stamp set all around the outside edge.
Hope you like it.

More Cards from Sunday's Class
The first one is a treat holder, it's hard to see, but we used one of the impression plates for a nice background, then used a couple of dies for the flowers and leaves and put it all together.
The second on was done with the Upsy Daisy stamp set, We stamped the original, then stamped off on both sides of it, very simple but nice.
The third one is made with Pocket Silhouettes, and an oval punch for the planters. It's nice the way it looks like they are sitting on a floor.
The last one again is another card done with the Eastern Blooms set. very simple but elegant, and we added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the center of the flowers.
Thanks for looking
