This was a card designed using the Stamping 411 sketch this week. I would have preferred to use the Cherry Cobbler seam binding on this I think, but I haven't gotten it yet. Oh well maybe when I get it I will do a second card and see if I like it better.
Thanks for looking

Glitter Birthday
Here is a card I did after reviewing the technique on Stamping 411. I had done this technique before on a few Christmas cards, but never really thought to do it on a birthday card until I seen Kerin's card over there.
Anyway here is what I came up with, for last Thursday's Technique Tutorial

Frosty the Snowman
This is the first card I've made today, I really like this little snowman from the Jolly Old Saint Nick set that is new in the Holiday Mini Catalogue. It reminds me of Frosty the snowman, the lovable snowman from the cartoon. I think it is the plumpness of him and the smile on his face.
Anyway I used the sketch from the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge blog.
Items Used:
Stamps: Jolly Old Saint Nick
Card Stock: Real Red, Glorious Green (retired), Bashful Blue
Designer Paper, Candy Cane Christmas (holiday mini) and retired stuff from Sweet Pea set
Punches: scalloped oval, Large Oval, Snowflake
Miscellaneous: nestabilities, dazzling diamonds glitter, silver brad, 1/8 inch ribbon (holiday mini)
Thanks again for looking

Ho Ho Ho
Well I guess there are a number of us getting into the spirit of making Christmas cards or at least trying to get a head start on making them. This card was done for two challenges and it uses the new designer paper, as well as the new ribbon, and set Jolly Old Saint Nick from the Holiday Mini catalogue which just was released on the first of Sept. So far I must say that this is the best Holiday catalogue I've seen. There is something for the cute, something for the young and young at heart, and even some of the old vintage style stuff. Also Stampin Up has come out with some really nice fabric to enjoy doing your holiday sewing as well. So if you need anything or want to browse, just click on the picture of the catalogue and it will take you there.
This Card was inspired by the sketch at Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge, and by using this paper and design it called for Distressing which is what Stamptacular Sunday challenge is wanting us to do this week.
Items used:
Stamps: Jolly Old Saint Nick, Morsel Greetings (See-D's)
Card stock, Real Red, Early Expresso,
Designer Paper: Deck the Halls
Markers: Cherry Cobbler, Real Red, Blush Blossom, Blushing Bride.
Accessories: tombow glue, dimensionals, glue dots, dazzling diamonds, distress tool, 1/8 in real red taffeta ribbon, real red button, linen thread

Angelic Joy
This card was done for the Stamping 411 Challenge. I used the new Stamp called Angelic Joy from the Holiday Mini catalogue. It has some nice sayings with it as well. I will show you another card later in the week made with her as well. She's so pretty. I colored her with inks and aqua brush, with exception to her halo and wings, they were painted with paint brush using the champagne shimmer paint, the lines in the wings were all I outlined with the paint, didn't want too much.
Thanks for looking Cindy
For this card I used:

Inks Marina Mist, Baja Breeze, Sahara Sand, So Saffron, Daffodil delight, Blush Blossom
