Here is the card I did for the Mojo Monday sketch. I've used my block as the background stamp and then used the French Foilage stamp set to make the main image, the birthday tag is done with the Punch Bunch retired set. The colors are more mustard, cajun craze, cherry cobbler, and early espresso. I used cajun craze buttons with the early espresso baker's twine.

Birthday Pinwheels
Here's a card I made tonight using a new set that just came out called sweet for the sweets, it has swirl candies in it along with these adorable pinwheels, oh and the ribbon is new and very cool, if you look closely you will see that it is not only polka dotted, but has scallops, and the opposite side is plain color so you can use it either way. I chose to go with the polka dots in keeping with the theme of the pinwheels. This is made for the Friday Mashup Challenge, as well as for the Paper Pal Arts Challenge, The theme and colors are from Friday Mashup, and the sketch is from Paper Pal Arts.

The colors used are Island Indigo and Pool Party, added a bit of glitter for snow effects and I'm done. Thanks for looking.

Another Pansy
Ah well here is my second pansy that I made for the Come and Get It challenge, which this week was Julie's choice on technique and she challenged us all to make our own flowers for our cards, so why not pop over and see what everyone else has done and join in the fun. I really like the way this one turned out color wise. I love yellow pansy's in real life and I like this one too. I will also enter this over at the Stamping 411 blog too, as I used their sketch for this card. Thanks for looking

Pansy
Here is a card I did today, I've wanted to try the pansy flowers with the butterfly punch for quite a while and since tomorrow's challenge is to create your own flowers at Come and Get It I decided I'd better start playing with some ideas, anyway I decided to do this card for the Clean and Simple Sunday Challenge, which is where the sketch came from and the color combo is from the Create with Connie and Mary Challenge. I've had fun making this card, so I will think about making another pansy for tomorrows challenge, so come back and see what color I make the next one, and of course the card will be totally different too.

Christmas Wishes
Well here we are with a new Christmas card done with one of my newer sets. I know it's not a new set, but it is to me, as it was one I had wanted last year and just hadn't gotten until now. I love the set, for it's simplicity and it's elegance. Anyway I stamped it with versamark and then embossed with gold. put it on Cherry Cobbler, For the base it's also Cherry Cobbler, and a layer of old olive, then a layer of the Jolly Holiday Designer Paper, which was also from the last catalog . used some ribbon from stash, it's an olive green with ribbing of gold in it, so pretty. I will enter this into the challenge for the Christmas Card Challenge Blog.

Contempo Christmas
For this week at Winter Wonderland they are asking for some wet or dry embossing on your card. This is a card I made tonight using the Contempo Christmas set along with the Contempo Wheel. I stamped it all in Versamark ink and then embossed it all in Gold. I used Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke and Brushed Gold card stock for this card. I added some red nail heads onto the ornament to give it a bit more interest and finished it off with some gold elastic cording.

Vintage Christmas Flowers
This is my card for the Friday Mashup Blog this week, The theme is Vintage Flowers. So I did the poinsettias from the Bells and Boughs set. One of my favorite sets from last Christmas. I water colored it on Naturals Ivory card stock, distressed it with soft suede, and used the corner rounder punch to punch two of the corners, backed it onto Cherry Cobbler. I used a piece of the Deck the halls paper I had left over from last year as well. I've put it all together on Soft Suede and distressed it as well. added the tag which has a vintage clip and to decorate it a bit I used some of the lace I also put lace down the side with a vintage button to finish off the card.

Christmas in July
Christmas in July seems to be a popular theme around the challenge blogs this past couple of weeks. Well I have been doing Christmas cards since last Christmas I think I took a few week hiatus back in mid May for about a month or so, but now I'm back making them again. Anyway this particular card I have done using the Sketch over at one of my favorite blogs (a la card monkey) which I've not been to in a while, life gets in the way sometimes.
So this card is for that challenge, as well I will enter it into the Winter Wonderland Challenge, which says not to use Red Or Green, well my colors are Rich Razzleberry, Baja Breeze and a new one by Stampin' Up Island Indigo. The stamp sets used are Serene Snowflakes, and Word Play. Thanks for looking.

My Scrapbook pages of our Trip to Holland
Hi everyone, well I've finally dug into the scrapbooking world. I've made a few pages from our previous trips to Holland, I've been there 3 times and we have a lot of pictures and I thought I would try and make a book with them. So I've actually started it. Using My Digital Studio. I made a Cover page and then I made a page that goes with it that has various pictures from different places. I'm going to section of the scrapbook into sections of different areas of the country I've visited. For those that don't know me, my husband is Dutch and I have Dutch background. My husbands immediate family is all there, so we have been over a few times. So this is where all this has started.
The two pages I'm showing right now are part of the pictures that we have from the beautiful Garden called Keukenhof.
Anyway thanks for looking
Cindy
