Autumn Leaves

So here is the "Mashup" Challenge:
  1. Create a project with an "Autumn" theme.
  2. Or Create a project using shades of "Yellow & Orange".
  3. Or "Mash it Up" and create a "Autumn project using shades of Yellow & Orange".

Here's my card for the Friday Mashup. I started off with Pumpkin Pie base, I then used a layer of Early Espresso, and then another layer of Razzleberry Lemonade DSP (retired). I then took a piece of Pumpkin Pie CS and ran it through the big shot with the square lattice EF. I then used the #2 Leaves die and cut out two of the leaves with the Pumpkin Pie CS, and one maple leaf using the Crushed Curry CS (retired). Afterwards I crinkled the leaves and tore off the top layer of CS, this gives the leaves a softer texture, (faux suede technique), and makes them thinner so they had the thinness of real leaves. I used the droplets from the french foilage stamp set to make the brown spots on the leaves, using crumb cake ink stamped off first, as i didn't want them dark. I then cut out two ovals, and on the very vanilla oval stamped my greeting, and then stamped the leaf from the stamp set stampin off again using pumpkin pie ink, added three pumpkin pie brads to finish off the card.  Thanks for looking.

  8. I love those die cut leaves! What a fab idea to use the colors like that with the leaves. The leaf in the center of your focal image is perfect!
