New Year, New Challenges

Hi Everyone, this card I made for the A La Card Monkey Challenge, It's a sketch and your to use something that you have that is new, or new to you, so I chose the set that will be available at the end of the month during Sale-a-bration which is called Fresh Vintage, I also used the new designer paper from that catalogue as well. called Everyday Enchantment.
The colours I used are Soft Suede, Calypso Coral, Pool Party and Poppy Parade. I used the Calypso Coral ruffled ribbon, along with the antique brads. The paper already looks distressed but I distressed it a bit more then I mounted it on the Soft Suede and ran it through the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, the greeting comes from the Pennant Parade set.

    Beautiful card! The embossing had such a great effect on the paper! I love the new paper and stamp set, but haven't used the stamps yet! Time to get busy!

    Hi Cindy: You are hilarious about my Margaret and her toaster card!!! The secret Samara and the secret Cindy!!! Your art is gorgeous and very Bohemian...I love that you are working "out of the box" as a SU! I did that as well...it's YOUR blog baby!!!! Your style is really uber stellar...I'm glad your comment made me laugh so I came over. This card above is gorgeous...I love the color and the way you have detailed it. I used to be SU and still use tons of products...but too Bohemian to keep it up. btw. I was raised and lived in Thornhill. When I took the highroad out of T.O. I left Richmond Hill and my kids are still at Steeles and Bathurst! Nice Coincidence! Be Well. Love for the New Year oh funny one!!! xox Samara
