Over at Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge there is a challenge going on right now called Home for Christmas, so I brought out my Christmas Lodge set, along with the designer paper made to go with it, and this is what I've come up with very simple old fashioned Christmas. Thanks for looking.

My Newest Page done in MDS
This is the latest page I've done in MDS, I'm replacing the earlier page I did of the Keukenhoff Windmill with this page. This page was inspired by Heather Summer's who has done an online class in MDS, in which she has shown us numerous ideas of what can be done. She will be hosting another class with even more information in the near future.

I've used the Paper and Stamp set that I think was my favorite this year that Stampin Up brought out. It's the Nautical Expedition Paper and The Open Sea Stamp set. Sketch time at Come and Get It
Hi Everyone over at Come and GEt It this week we have a sketch for you. I designed this a while ago, wtith my intention of using a differnt stamp and thinkging of spring. Well today when I looked in my box of Christmas cards for this coming year, I thought oh I need to start making some more of them, as I have one order that in a standing order for 100 then I have 25 needed for ourselves, and then nay extras I make I use for craft shows or other orders as they come in. Anyway that's why the change in the plans for the card, and since I decide to go with this set for the cards, I needed to make a square card for my image to fit on and look right.
Items used; Stamps: The Sounding Joy
Card stock, Cherry Cobbler, Natruals Ivory, Crumb Cake and Early Espresso.
PUnches, and Accessories, Retired star punches, rhinestones, and beaded circle die.

Come and Get It Color Challenge
This week at Come and Get It we have a color challenge. This week it is Shell hosting the challenge and she has asked us to do a white on white card for the challenge. I must say not my favorite color challenge, but the effect is always nice. Thanks for the challenge Shell.
The base is All Naturals White Card stock, then the first layer is a piece of Whisper White embossed using the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. I then put a piece of 5/8 in Satin Ribbon onto the card, made a bow and adhered it with a glue dot, the greeting is a piece of faux mother of pearl paper I had made punched with the scalloped punch then a piece of Whisper White with the greeting stamped in Rose Red. The greeting is from Petite Pairs stamp set. The rose, was made using the FancyFlower Punch and the Build a Blossom Punch for the leaves. I had a sheet of the faux mother of pearl still that I had made about a week ago, so I used it to make the flower and leaves. then I sponges the edges of the flower with Rose Red, and the leaves were sponges lightly with Wild Wasabi.

Merry Monday Challenge
This is a card I created for the Merry Monday Challenge, Helping get the Christmas cards done early, hahaha. That won't happen, but that's because I sell them at shows and such, and have some regular customers that buy my cards from me. Anyway for this card I've use the Sounding Joy Set, I paired it with the Mocha Morning Paper, scrumptous if I do say so. The bow is the Cherry Cobbler Seam binding and it has an antique brad in the middle. The cherry cobbler lettering for the stamp is embossed over the crumb cake inked star image from the set. Monkey Challenge 99 Sketch with flowers
Hi Everyone, well here we are again playing, taking a bit of a break from making Baby cards and tags. I seen the sketch this week over at the Monkey challenge and just had to try it out. I really like the layout of it. For my card I used my go to set for flowers lately called Fabulous Florets, just love the simplicity of the set. Anwyay just used the stem of the flowers and stamped it in Crumb Cake and stamp off a couple of times as well. I used the Champagne Shimmer Paint on top makeing a mist with alcohol, and spritzed the card with it. I love the affect it has on a card, just a slight subtle shimmer. the rest is pretty self explanitory, I used the mocha morning DSP and I used our new edgelet die for the edge on vanilla. the pearls are our new large pearls and I colored them using the log cabin spritz. It takes a bit of time to dry, but they look gorgeous in person. and to finish of the card I stamped the birthday greeting with early espresso from Petite Pairs, and used a bit of vanilla satin ribbon from my stash. Thanks for looking. Cindy

Baby Cards
Working on some baby cards, I have done 6 of 8 for someone, and will do 8 tags as well. Anyway used a retired stamp set to make the cards it's called A New Little Someone. Love this set, I borrowed it from someone, I would love to get a set so if anyone knows of anyone that has it let me know please.
the first cards are made with three of the smaller images, and the second set of 4 are made with the bunny. I'm doing one each in green, pink, yellow and blue. then will do two tags in each of the 4 colours as well.
