Embossing and Nature

Here is a card I made  for the Friday Mashup, which was to use embossing, along with something from nature. I used Element of Style stamp set, which are some beautiful cabbage roses and some other small flowers. I stamped the vine image over the background using marina mist, I then embossed it with my square lattice die. For the main image stamped in stazon ink, then colored using marina mist and pretty in pink ink and my blender pen, the leaves are done the same way with wild wasab. Before attaching the front I placed pretty in pink satin ribbon and made a bow and attached it.
Love this set and I love the way this turned out.

This is another card I did using the challenge over at Come and Get it. I had to try this technique a few times, and this is the second one I did. I find the technique a lot of fun, if you haven't tried it give it a go. This time I used the same set as the first, but did it directly onto the rose red card stock and used a white gel pen. very simple to do.

Technique Challenge

Hi Everyone, well for this week over at the Come and Get It Challenge, we've got a technique challenge set by Shell, She's asked us to use the Bandana Technique on our projects. I had never done it before so it was something new to try. Anyway this is my card for the challenge. Go and check it out and check all the other designer's cards. they are all different and unique.
