This week at Come and Get It Challenges, was Julie's turn for a color challenge, she chose Brown, Red, and Orange for her challenge. So my thoughts for the colors came to fall. For the background I used a polished glass technique using Ridinghood Red and Tangerine Tango reinkers. I stamped the leaves and splatter drops from the French Foilage set onto it in Early espresso. and mounted onto a piece of early espresso. The background paper is tangerine tango and then that was put onto Ridinghood Red . I wrapped hemp twine around the center image and stamped the leaves again from the set using Ridinghood Red, Pumpkin Pie, and Soft Suede cut them out and attached with dimensionals. I then used the greeting from the Days of Grattitude set and stamped it in Pumpkin Pie, and stamped the acorn, in Early Espresso and Soft Suede cut it out and put on with dimensionals. Thanks for looking

Very pretty card, Cindy. I love the leaves both in the background and the ones on front. It looks like you inked up real leaves and stamped them. The technique is just great. Well done.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Cindy, love the main background and how you made it using the polish stone technique!
