Loads of Love Christmas

This I made also using the sketch at Stamping 411. This time I used the loads of love set, I love this little pickup truck but have to learn to color it better. Oh well in time I will. I also used crystal effects to give the windows a sheen to look like glass, it's hard to tell, but looks great in real life. The rest is pretty straight forward. Again thanks for looking

Lovely as a Tree Christmas

For this card, I used the sketch from the Stamping 411 challenge. Great blog if you haven't been there before.

First of all as soon as I seen the sketch I knew the stamp set I wanted to use. It just fit perfectly. Also the colors of what I wanted to do fit as well.
I first of all cut my card stock at 4.5 by 11 and folded it at 5.5. I then cut a piece of white card stock 4.25 by 5.25, and embossed it with my big shot using the dots template, I then put the ribbon onto it, it is 1/4 in navy grosgrain. I then cut my background paper for the tree at 3.5 by 2.5 and cut the white at 3.25 by 2.25. I stamped the tree in night of navy, then over stamped it with versa mark ink and used the heat and stick powder on it with glitter. I then used versa mark on a small square sheet of white and put heat and stick and then glitter. I then punched out the white snowflake and blue snow flake used my mat pack and piercing tool to make the hole and used a small silver brad to attach the snowflakes together, off setting them. I adhered them to the card using glue dot. The tree is adhered to the blue then adhered to the card with dimensionals. Then I stamped the merry Christmas from the teeny tiny wishes set onto white punched out with window punch and then the modern labels punch. I then adhered it also with dimensionals. and the card was finished.

More Ornaments

Hi All here are a couple more ornaments that I've done recently, I used Swarovski Crystals and Pearls on these ornaments, so they are a bit pricey to make but then they look so pretty.

The first one is called icicle, then the other two are angelica, the first one is the original pattern for it and the second is a variation, instead of ribbon I attached the cover to the ornament with a ring of seed beads. Thanks for looking.

Vintage Christmas

These are four cards I made this week, when I went to a class. I just thought it would be fun and it was. I've not done a lot of this style, but think I might do a few more as I enjoyed doing them.

Beaded Ornaments

Hi Everyone, Something a little different to show you, These are two ornaments that I've made I haven't done them in a couple of years, and thought I'd like to make a few. The first one cost me about $20.00 to make in beads and the ornament, but the time it took was about 25 hours or so, the second one doesn't cost as much and also doesn't take as much time. I've been asked if I would sell them, the first I'm not selling as it wouldn't be worth it, but the second I said I would, oops a mistake now I have to make 8 of them. So I'll be busy doing these for a while, and I have a few other's I'd like to make for myself. So anyway that's what I've been up to this week.
Take care, and thanks for looking

Patterned Pines

Hi Everyone, this is my take on the Sketch this week at Stamping 411

Stamp set: Patterned Pines (Hostess, Holiday Mini Catalogue
Designer Paper: Holiday Lounge
Card Stock, Bermuda Bay, Soft Suede
Extras: SU gold cord, star charm from stash, diamond texture plate, big shot, gold embossing powder

basically this card is straight forward, other than I used the diamond texture plate on the soft suede and doesn't really show up on the picture I took, but in person you can see it.

Warm Winter Wishes

Hi Everyone, I really liked the sketch from Stamping 411 so decided to give it another go. This time I used the level 3 the more the merrier set, and all the new in colors for coloring and the background papers and cardstock. I also added an element, hope they don't mind. I added the snowflake in the corner, punched it out then covered it in glitter, doesn't show well in the scan but looks cool in person, also added glitter to the bottom under them as well. Oh and I left off the ribbon, so the punched snowflakes on the scallops would show up better.
Thanks again for looking.

Poinsettias

This is a card I did today. It is actually the sketch from Stamping 411 Challenge, and also falls in line for the Stamp with us challenge theme of Christmas.
The base is real red followed by the green designer paper Merry Moments. then another piece of real red followed by whisper white, I used a piece of the red and ran it through the big shot with the petals of plenty embossing folder then scalloped the edge, the ribbon is dyed with the old olive ink since I ran out of the old olive ribbon, and the stamp used was from teeny tiny wishes. The flowers were from my stash.
Thanks for looking.

Jingle Bells

This is another of the beaded embroidery cards I've done. It also falls into the challenge over at the winter wonderland blog. I've been doing a lot of them lately and as fast as I can make them they are being sold, so I guess I'd better keep making them.
