Squares
At the Just for Fun Challenge this week the item to use on your project is squares, I think I have that covered on this. I used a bunch of scraps from retired papers to make the quilt on the back drop, then used my sewing machine to sew the borders and lines on the quilt, I stamped the sewing machine and dress form in stazon and colored with markers, and again made it square and used the sewing machine around the edges, the sentiment is hand done, and the buttons are from the new sweet buttons embosslit die.

Color Challenge
For this week Leslie one of the other designers of the Come and Get it Challenge, came up with this color challenge.
which I think are very pretty spring colors, and since it is Easter next weekend, figured I would do an easter card. I have had this pattern for stitched cards for a long time and have only used it once before this, so I thought it was a perfect choice for this challenge.
I used silk threads to embroider the design and added nailheads to the design and stamped Happy Easter on the finished stitched design. I will also enter this into the HSS Challenge, which is Easter projects
Thanks for Looking and have a great Sunday

Team Meeting Swap
This is the second card I've done for the swap. The colors from this card came from the Color Coach, which says that to team up Poppy Parade with Tangerine Tango, so that's what I've done, adding the Very Vanilla in as my accent. I used the Simple Friendship Stamp First I stamped it in black and colored it in with Poppy Parade and Pear Pizazz, then stamped it again in Tangerine Tango, Cut the bottom half off of the first one and attached it on top of the second one. The designer paper came from the level one designer pack of papers using all the in colors from this year. First time I've actually used any of it. The butterflies are from the Embosslits die, and I used pearls for accents on the main image and on the large butterfly

Team Meeting Swap
Hi Everyone, well this coming Thursday, I'm getting together with Catherine, Darlean, and Connie, which we are all a part of Catherine's down line, we are going to do a swap of two cards, So this is the first card that I've decided to make for the swap. I love the elegance of this set and think it is one of the best sets that Stamping Up has out there right now. Anyway The background uses the swirl from the set, then embossed with the square lattice folder. The main image is stamped with Stazon and colored with inks and blender pen in Marina Mist, Pretty in Pink, So Saffron, and Certainly Celery.
