On the side

Hi All, This week at Come and Get It we have a few new things happening, new look and a new challenge.
Shell is your hostess this week, and she wants to see your focal image on the side of the card, one side or the other. Easy. huh. Well I thought so, for my card I have used the Fabulous Florets Stamp set, along with the Elegant Lines embossing folder, and the sentiment is from a retired set called Watercolor Trio. I have used Garden Green and Rose Red for the colors, along with Whisper White. So pretty, the ribbon is the rose red seam binding ribbon, and the rhinestones are from my stash.  Anyway thanks for looking and go check out the new look and enter our new Challenge.

Focusing on the Sentiments

Meighan's turn to host the Holly Jolly challenge this week, and we are focusing on the sentiments of the season. A great idea, as there are so many beautiful ones out there. Thanks for the challenge Meighan. Anyway for my card I have used the greeting from the More Merry Messages set. The colors are Garden Green, and Ridinghood Red, The embossed layer is using the vintage wallpaper embossing folder, the paper is retired and so is the ribbon. Anyway thanks for looking

Center Step Poinsettia

For this week at Holly Jolly Christmas Challenges we are asking people to make step cards. For my card I chose to do a center step card. I've used the Be of Good Cheer Designer Paper, and the Christmas Blessings Designer Paper, along with Gold Embossing powder, and Garden Green ink and Raspberry Ripple ink and Ribbon. the card was made using the video from Dawn's Stamping Thoughts to make the center panel longer. I stamped and embossed the image onto very vanilla using versamark and embossed with gold and colored with aqua painter and inks. Stamped the sentiment from the set in Garden Green ink. the paper was cut and then mounted onto very vanilla, then mounted onto the garden green base. The center panel was put onto a Raspberry Ripple piece then a gold piece then onto the base.
Thanks for looking
