Monochromatic Christmas Challenge

This week at Holly Jolly Christmas Challenges, Paige is our hostess, and she has decided on a monochromatic color challenge, for which I have decided to use Always Artichoke as my color. I have used the tree from the retired set from Stampin Up called Christmas Lodge, the sentiment is from the More Merry Messages set. I used ink on my embossing folder and then ran through the big shot, to get the background, then stamped the tree, and added sentiment and seam binding ribbon. A simple but effective card. Floral Delights

This week at Crafting for All Seasons, we are sponsored by a day for daises and for my card I am using the digital stamp called flowers in a teacup. I just thought it was so sweet, reminded me of the forget-me-nots that I see outside in the spring growing wild. Anyway I've used Pacific Point and Rose Red along with Garden Green for my color combination. the designer paper is from the woodland walk set from Stampin Up, the flowers were colored with inks and aquapainter, the pearls were added to the flowers, then the dies behind them are the window flameslits from Stampin up then to finish off the card I used the Rose Red seam binding ribbon, love that ribbon.
