Sketch Challenge

For this week we have a sketch challenge at come and get it, I actually made the sketch in My digitial Studio, trying to work on a few things using the new software. It's another Christmas Card I know, but yeah it's new stamps from Stampin' Up available July 1st, when the new catalogue comes out. It's called pennant parade and it has some really cool pennants and accesories with it, also they have a punch to make it even easier to make them. Anyway thanks for Looking have a great Sunday and a great week.

Poinsettia Christmas Cards

Hi Everyone, I've been working on some more Christmas cards, these three are all similar but a bit different.
The first is done with Real Red and the retired Glorious Green. The second is done with Regal Rose and Wild Wasabi, and the final one is done with Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive. They were all stamped in black and colored with markers, The first two were then stamped with versamark ink, and then put heat and stick powder over that then the glitter for the background piece, then assembled. The third one I was going for a more vintage look, and tore the cardstock and inked it with distress ink, and stamped it with en francais stamp and then I crumpled the background and used distress on it as well. It also looks a bit aged from the water that was spritzed on it as well. You can't see it in the picture as the camera didn't pick it up but it also has gold spots on it throughout, as it was sprayed with a mixture of rubbing alcohol and gold shimmer paint. love the effect that gives.
These cards also were done for the following challenges
1. Stamptacular Challenge:
2. Stamp Something Challenge
3. Winter Wonderland Challenge: No Designer Paper

Thanks for looking. Cindy

Snowswirled tree

This card was done for the Sweet Stop Sketch challenge, The stamp set is snow swirled tree, Yeah I know Christmas, never too early to start, especially when I already have an order to make 40 cards from one of my regular customers. Anyway the designer paper is retired and the ribbon was from my stash along with the brads, The tree was stamped using shimmer paints, and the greeting was stamped with versamark ink and then used gold embossing powder. This was the best picture I could get, the tree really looks so pretty in real life.
Anyway that's it for this card Thanks for looking

Hi Everyone, These are two cards I've come up with for a workshop tomorrow. The hostess asked for Christmas themed cards, so this is what I've come up with. The first uses embossing folder petals a plenty and the Snow Swirled Christmas set, the second one used, Delightful Decorations and Teeny Tiny Wishes set. They are both pretty straight forward so hopefully the guests will enjoy making them. As a bonus I'm also going to have them make the post it note holder. very simple yet practical.
